Walking!

Well... he is finally getting the hang of it! Tucker has taken a few steps over the last month, but he really started walking this past week. Check out the video!

Tucker Birthday Weekend

This post has been a little delayed, and is out of order, but thought everyone might enjoy some pictures from Tucker's bday weekend. We had his Grandma and Grandpa Cullen and Grammy Goodhart in town for the weekend and had a big St. Patty's day Party with all of his friends.

This is a game I made up for the party and the grandparents. I had a picture of Tucker for each month from birth until 1 year and everyone had to match the picture with his age at the time. It was fun to see the grandparents guesses..and they all were pretty competitive with their answers!

Happy Easter

Tucker had a great first Easter with the Goodharts. All of my cousins and their kids came over to my parents house for Easter and here we are waiting to do the Easter Egg Hunt. There are different colored chocolate eggs worth various amounts of money. We counted 17 kids under the age of 8!!

No fun on planes

Hey everyone. So, I am mainly doing this post to share with you all how horrible the plane ride this past Thursday went. Tucker has decided (or maybe he has always been like this) that he does not like to be confined whatsoever, that he does not want to sit or stand in one place and that he does not like planes. He does however like chubby older women. There was a super nice lady sitting next to us on the plane and the only time Tucker stopped crying was the last five minutes when we were landing and he reached out for the chubby lady to hold him. He snuggled up to her and looked at the window and was perfectly still and quiet. It was hilarious and kind of sweet. And this is coming from the little boy that never lets any strangers, much less someone he has only known for an hour hold him. Too weird! Andrew made some assumptions about tucker and the type of woman he might be into and thinks we need to break him of this habit early in life..

Overall, it wasn't all that bad and the flight was only an hour and half and he has been having a blast since we have been visiting and my family is giving him all kinds of love and attention.

Tucker's Bday - belated!

Hi friends and family! So, I had this great idea to document Tucker's actual first bday from start to finish so I could show it to him someday.. and also to post it to the blog.. well, as most of you know, his birthday was a few weeks ago (march 18) and with things being so busy, I never got a chance to post these pics.. so here they are a little belated.

This is Tucker in the morning on the way to the doctor. As you can see, he is super happy and has no idea he is about to get two shots. This was poor planning on my part, shots on his birthday!! As a treat for his bday, I let him take his little doggy with him everyhwhere for the day.. he loved that.

Here is Tucker in the doctor's office playing with my keys. We are waiting for the ped. to come in. She said he looked great and he got a clean bill of health! His height is 30 inches and weight is 23 lbs 1 oz. He has gained a pound since his 9 month check up.

Here he is eating his birthday snack at lunch. I made him special apple raisin cookies and he really liked them! I thought they were pretty good to0.

Here we are at WalMart. Tucker got his bday balloon from the dollar store and it lasted approximately 10 minutes before he let it loose and it floated up to the ceiling at WalMart.. oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

And the best part of Tucker's day. We had a family dinner on the back porch and grilled out chicken and vegetables with his daddy. He got to eat some more bday cookies and played with his new activity table.

Spring has Sprung!

This week has been so beautiful. We have really been enjoying the warm weather and sunshine the last few days.. and have gotten to eat dinner on the patio three nights in a row. It has been awesome.

Here are a few funny pics of Tucker post dinner with a mess on his face. As you can see, he lost his shirt b/c it got too messy.. but he definitely enjoyed eating the chicken kabobs we made for dinner.

Hi From Tucker..and the cutest hat ever

Tucker and I went to the park today even though it was cold outside. I read about a woman who takes her kids outside almost every day in the winter, even in the snow. It made me realizet that it doesn't have to be comfortable and warm for us to be outside. We had a great time and Tucker really hammed it up for the camara.

Bed Head and American Ninja

This post is for Tucker's Uncle Ryan who gave him this super cool shirt for christmas in honor of one of andrew's favorite movies and actors.. Michael Dudikoff in 'American Ninja'... In this pic, Tucker had just woken up from a nap and had hilarious bed head. I was laughing so hard.. and apparently so was Tucker.

Day at the Park

We had a great playdate at the park this past week with Tucker's friends, Robert and Reese. The weather has been beautiful the last few days and it was so nice to get outside and enjoy some fresh air and sunshine! The boys had a blast playing on this train.. except that poor Robert got a black eye.

Renee and I with the babies on the swings. Tucker loves to swing by himself but it's fun for us to swing together too...Our friend Chara and her daughter Sophie were at the park too.. Sophie accidentally locked herself in the car.. It was not fun for Chara, but luckily she called the fire dept and they were there in less than five minutes. This picture is after they rescued Sophie. We kept wondering who the weird guy in the blue sweatshirt was.. turns out he is a member of City Council.. guess he was trying to help out.

Flowers

So, Andrew is notorious for buying me flowers during the romantic holiday 'off season.' We don't really celebrate Valentine's Day or Sweetest Day. He had this bouquet delivered to the house last Tuesday when he knew I would be stuck in the house all day. It is called the 'Sweetheart Bouquet.' I love it and the flowers still smell great.
