Let's hit the beach!

We had such a great vacation at the beach with my family. It's the first time all of us have been able to get together for a vacation. We were so happy that everyone could make it.

We rented a golf cart for my dad for the week. It was like a little car and was perfect for riding around the island. Tucker liked it too.

Aunt Rae Rae Visit

My sister Rachel came to Atlanta to visit for a week. She is a teacher so she is off for the summer. It was so nice to have her here to help with Tucker. Andrew and I kept joking that we wanted to hire her as our full time nanny. I wish we would have taken more pictures, but here are a few cute ones.

Big Boy Stats

Hi Friends and Fam - Tucker had his 15 month check up this week.. and he is doing great! His stats are... Height: 32.5 inches (87%), Weight 25 lbs 11 oz (66%) and his head is in the whopping 98%!! So, he still has a big noggin, but the pediatrician said that's good. She also noticed that his attention span was really good and said it was a sign of intelligence, which of course I was excited about, but not surprising considering he takes after his daddy! We were happy to hear all the positive results and that he is healthy and on track. This week my sister is visiting and we are having a lot of fun with her. Will post an update and some pics later in the week!

Lazy summer days...

Robert and Tucker had a playdate this past week and we hung out in the backyard and played in the pool. It was a great day and a much needed break from work for me. Here they are doing a stare down. .. Tucker sat in Robert's little chair all day. He kept getting in and out, in and out.. his new fav thing is chairs, especially kid-sized ones!

After being outside all day.. it was defintely time for a snack!

Tuck loves Duck

Tucker has really taken a liking to animals. He is really excited about a duck we saw on the lake last weekend. We were feeding him goldfish.. and Tucker had a blast throwing them to the ducky..

Fun times

We had a great Memorial Day weekend with my mom and dad here in Atlanta. Andrew and I also had a chance to get away to Lake Oconee for the night.

Tuck was all decked out with his life jacket and hat. Not that he left his hat on for very long. We got rained on about five minutes after this picture. Good thing it passed quickly and the sun came out!

This pic is one of my current favorites of Tucker. he loves wearing sunglasses, especially mine.. he is a little ham that's for sure.

Andrew and I spent the day and night at Lake Oconee. It was awesome.. and we even saw Ben Rothlisburger from the Steelers at the lake bar. I got his autograph for my mom which was really cool b/c my mom loves him!!

Elmo has magic powers!

On Thursday, Tucker and I met some friends at Music Class. The music class is two days a week and we usually try to go a couple of times a month. This week, there was a special guest, ELMO! There were tons of people there... at least 10 times the normal because of Elmo. Tucker had a blast and ran around the room singing and dancing for 45 minutes. The only time he stopped was to say hi to Elmo. He started patting Elmo's fur and even let Elmo hold him in his lap. Here are some cute pics of Tucker and Elmo. He didnt' want to get up, but other kids were waiting in line for Elmo. It was really sweet! We later found out that the Elmo costume didn't have eyes, so we were lucky that Elmo knew to wave at the camara!

Well, I have been a complete slacker and have not done any posts in awhile. so this one is going to be a combo of a few different events, but mainly I just wanted to post some cute pictures of Tucker.....

Tucker is wearing Uncle Beau's hat and I think he is trying to look cool. This pic is at my mom and dad's house. We were getting ready to take a walk and it was freezing.. and it was the only hat we could find. So cute!

First time Tucker drank out of a straw. He is actually drinking a fruit smoothie for breakfast... it was yummy!

Using his skills to drink. The sippy cup is actually from Japan. Andrew brought it back from Tyler and Yuko's wedding. The funny thing is that they passed it out at the reception and it was filled with sake.. good thing we washed it out really good before Tucker drank out of it!

Here are the babies at the park to celebrate Robert's Bday... he is the one to the right of Tucker. It was a hot day, but we had fun!
